These terms apply to the styling services provided by Solkin ("Solkin", "we" or "I"), operated by Shivani Sarin as a sole trader, based in London, United Kingdom. By booking or buying a service, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, please email hello@solkin.house before you buy.
Solkin offers the Style Blueprint, a personalised digital styling guide prepared from your questionnaire and photographs; the Style Blueprint + Private Session, which adds a one-hour private video call and a personalised shopping list; and, in London, bespoke in-person styling arranged by enquiry. Each service is described on the website.
Services are paid for in full at the time of booking, in pounds sterling, through our payment provider. Work begins once your payment has been received and you have submitted your completed questionnaire and photographs.
Your Style Blueprint is delivered digitally within five working days of us receiving your completed questionnaire and photographs. If anything causes a delay, we'll let you know and agree a new date with you.
The Style Blueprint. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before you submit your questionnaire and photographs. Because each Blueprint is created specifically for you, once you submit them and the work begins, it is non-refundable. By submitting, you ask us to begin straight away and accept that you lose the right to cancel for a refund once we have.
The Private Session. You may reschedule free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled within 48 hours, or missed without notice, are not refundable.
In-person styling in London. Arranged individually by enquiry. The terms, including any deposit and cancellation notice, are confirmed in writing when you book.
None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
The quality of your styling advice depends on the information you give us, so please complete your questionnaire honestly and provide photographs as described. We can't be responsible for recommendations that miss the mark because key information wasn't shared.
Styling guidance is exactly that: personal, professional suggestions based on your information and our judgment. It is offered in good faith to help you, but it isn't a guarantee of any particular outcome, and style is always personal to you.
Any shopping list, product suggestions or links we share are for your convenience only. We are not the seller and are not responsible for third-party products, their price, availability or quality. You buy from third parties at your own discretion and under their terms. If any link is an affiliate link, we will say so clearly.
Your Style Blueprint and all the materials we create remain the intellectual property of Solkin and are licensed to you for your own personal use. Please don't resell, reproduce or share them commercially, or present them as your own.
We treat everything you share as confidential and handle your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
We'll always carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought your service. The date above shows when these were last updated.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
